The Merrion, one of Dublin’s finest luxury hotels and one of the Leading Hotels of the World is recruiting for a full time Assistant Night Manager to join our professional and friendly Night Team. The Assistant Night Manager's role includes the following:
- To promote a helpful and professional image to the guest, and give full co-operation to any guest requiring assistance, with a prompt, caring and helpful attitude.
- To ensure night audit accounting duties are accurately completed in-line with set standards.
- To be the Senior manager on duty during the night shift, handling situations as they arise in a capable and competent manner, in line with hotel policies.
- The responsibility for the security at night of guests, staff and premises.
- To ensure all guests are welcomed on arrival, checked into The Merrion, and checked-out prior to the early reception shift starting.
- The control and monitoring of the workload of all night personnel.
- To ensure a full handover from the late Duty Manger takes place between the start and finish of the day and night shifts, ensuring you are fully aware of late check-ins, VIP rooms, possible early check-outs and Front of House duties.
- To ensure public areas are well presented to guests ensuring they are clean and tidy at all times.
- To monitor contract work being carried-out during the night, liaising with the relevant Head of Department.
