We are looking for an electrical engineer to join our Failure Analysis engineering team under the System Product Engineering group in the NVIDIA networking business unit. The primary responsibility of this position will be failure analysis engineer. Our System Product Engineer will work closely with our Hardware, Mechanical, Software, Firmware, and Test Engineers, along with the Quality and Operations teams in the company and contract manufacturers, and vendors. This job allows you to work in a sophisticated, exciting engineering environment supporting the development of future products and exploring new technologies and having a great impact on mass production processes and the reliability of the products in the multidisciplinary engineering environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Improve our products' design, manufacturing process, and testing flow. Ensure corrective and preventive actions are identified, implemented, and efficiently verified to address the root cause of quality complaints.
- Full accompaniment of the failure analysis process from the testing process to root cause finding.

Led a routine communication with NVIDIA's customers' on the RMA root cause findings. In addition, you will work with our vendors/manufacturers and address the new standards of the gate for quality in their processes.- Managing quality and task forces events by leading cross-organizational teams, analyzing failure modes, planning and executing a test plan, until finding a root cause and implementing corrective action in the field.
- Perform detailed data analysis to correlate customer failures with internal production data to help understand root causes, risk, and exposure.
- Extensive lab work on hardware, firmware and software, debugging, and characterization of system-level, board-level, and chip-level issues.
What we need to see:
- B.Sc/B.tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in hardware design/system failure analysis/debugging/Architecture or Product Engineer.
- Proficient with circuit design tools and lab equipment and lab setups, troubleshooting skills, and writing diagnostic scripts/programs.
- A highly motivated teammate who always stays up-to-date with new technologies and FA methodologies.
- Proficient English required.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Background in the verification and validation of High-speed signals.
- Experience as a test engineer or product engineer
- Experience in Board design, System, or SOC architecture.
- Background with FW algorithm.
- Linux operating systems, and programming languages such as Perl/Python/C/C++
