Job Description


As a Business Analyst, you will ensure smooth cooperation between the business side and the IT side of IT projects. Our Business Analysts are knowledgeable in the business and its applications, acting as a bridge between the two. You will be responsible for analysis and all related documentation for your IT projects, as well as defining how the scope of the project will be implemented within the existing applications, working closely with the software development team. The role includes establishing and maintaining strong regional relationships for knowledge sharing to achieve synergy with other Business Analysts, as well as with business units and regional/Group teams.

Responsibilities and duties:

Project management

Your responsibilities will involve ensuring that projects are implemented effectively while keeping deadlines and costs on target.
You will conduct large development projects and implementation, providing documentation onsite.
You will be responsible for defining the scope and timeline of the project, regularly providing updates on project progress and responding to problems.
You will also preside over the project management committee, ensure communication between team members.

Business requirement management


In this role, you will combine business and IT solutions, manage business relationships with stakeholders (including key users, laboratory managers and business unit managers) in IT initiatives to ensure successful implementation.
You will be responsible for managing and tracking the state of requirements throughout the project life cycle, preparing specifications, documentation and ensuring the high-quality, timely delivery of solutions and providing appropriate documentation.

Technical tasks

You will define requirements, user histories, and test cases, and prepare changes in the Advisory Board.
Responsibilities will also include implementing test plans for the provided solutions.
You will participate in release processes by testing release packages in the User Acceptance environment.
Furthermore, you will support data migration during projects and support system configuration.
In addition, you will be responsible for providing user trainings on applications and supporting live post-it for any new implemented solutions (“Support HyperCare”), as well as for preparing training materials, technical and final documentation.


Qualifications


Experience
:
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in the analysis of business and technical requirements, design, modelling, verification and methodology development.
You should have experience in adapting IT to business initiatives, project coordination and project management, defining requirements for business applications, and with ERP projects, such as implementation projects, in medium-sized organisations.

Language requirements:
Proficiency in English is mandatory (ideal level C1; B2 minimum)
Fluent knowledge of the local language is essential.

Personal profile:
This role requires excellent analytical and creative skills in problem-solving. Are you organised and able to multitask involvement in several projects at the same time? Can you make your own judgments and take initiative? Candidates should also have a strong attention to detail, excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and enjoy teamwork.
