Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Occupational Health Nurse located in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand through 28July 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time)
This position requires providing medical care at the onshore Chevron Aviation Base (NST) CTEP facility. The responsibilities encompass emergency responsiveness, fitness for duty evaluations, and health promotion activities. The role necessitates the flexibility to accept short-term assignments at offshore facilities as per the requirements. Administering a broad spectrum of occupational health programs, which include fitness for duty, medical emergency management, clinical service, wellness program, industrial hygiene monitoring, medical surveillance, food hygiene, sanitary inspection, and occupational health tests, is a significant part of this role. Another integral responsibility is coordinating medical issues within the company, with other business units, and external parties, while supporting the OE process.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Provide medical care, emergency responses, Fitness for Duty (FFD) assessments, conduct Occupational Health Tests, and input medical data into the system, along with performing other tasks related to medical care services.
This role primarily functions from the NST Airbase, undertaking medical nursing responsibilities. Travel to offshore locations may be required in emergency situations.
Manage offshore referral cases, verify return-to-work procedures, monitor their implementation, and oversee case management for NST and offshore locations.
Supervise NST/offshore cases under the guidance of the Company's Medical Doctor.
Manage and conduct Breath Alcohol Concentration (BAC) tests for flight passengers.
Implement a comprehensive array of occupational health programs, such as wellness initiatives, industrial hygiene monitoring, medical surveillance, food hygiene, sanitary inspections, and occupational health tests.
Coordinate medical matters within the company, among different business units, and with external parties.
Perform functional tasks and other assignments, such as clinical visits, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, Wellness programs, Health Exhibitions, and the supply of medical equipment and medication to offshore locations.
Qualifications:
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing, a valid Thai nursing license, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar industry.
Familiarity with the H&M management system, fitness for duty evaluations, and case management is crucial.
The ability to demonstrate good leadership behaviors.
The role requires strong coordination, interpersonal, and communication skills and have a firm command of the English language in listening, speaking, and writing is a prerequisite.
